New site, New show & Dinosaurs!

New website! I finally have a website up that I'm happy with! It's been a long time coming but admitedly I've been quite busy. l've been busy bringing Dinosaurs to life in Extinction, mixing future DramaDoc The Plantagenets for Channel5, helping on my friends music videos (http://markmathews.fourfour.com/) and planning a trip to Colombia in late September. Hopefully I can get some great field recordings in Colombia too.

The Plantagenets!

During the next month I'll be mixing "Britan's Bloodiest dynasty: The Plantagenets" a big budget docu-drama for Channel 5. I've already mixed Episode 1 which is sounding great, and can't wait to get my claws into the rest of the series. All I can say is it looks absolutely fantastic! The team behind it have worked really hard on it and it really shows.

Film Premier!

The other great news this month is that Extinction will be premiering at FrightFest 2014. Extinction is a film I've been working on since Christmas in my down time. A found footage film set in Peru (Shot in Wales, not that you could tell) where a team of researchers stumble across some not so extinct Dinosaurs! Yes it sounds ridiculous but it's a monster film after all and it has been great fun bringing an animatronic/rubber dinosaur to life. It goes to show you don't need a load of CGI for a good monster flick as the Dinosaurs look great. The film will be my first 5.1 Dolby Surround feature.
